The heart of Del Mar is located at Camino Del Mar and 15th Street. They also have easy access to the ocean, beaches, parks, and Del Mar’s Farmers Market, which is located at Camino Del Mar and 10th Street every Saturday morning. There are several neighborhoods in Del Mar. Starting from the south end of the community is Del Mar Terrace. Moving north there is Del Mar Heights, Del Mar Bluffs, Olde Del Mar, and the Beach Colony. East of Highway 5, there are the neighborhoods of the Polo Club, Rancho Del Mar, and North Via de la Valle. Del Mar has a very strong sense of community. This city also has a very organized and active city council.
