Realtors take into consideration multiple elements when scheduling dates and times for their open houses. In San Diego, the Serafini Buettner Group checks the Chargers, Padres and other sporting events schedules in order not to conflict with game times. In La Jolla, the Group often schedules our open houses in the late morning and early afternoon to take leverage of the foot traffic at the Farmer’s Market and the activities that often take place in the Village on the weekends.
However, there are always some variables that even the best of the best cannot control.
Take for instance this past weekend, our Group faced an unusual problem while holding an open house at 7770 Sierra Mar in the La Jolla. While we experienced both great weather and a great outcome, about halfway through our open house, President Obama’s motorcade came through the neighborhood. People were hesitant to intrude or cross the motorcade, so we didn’t have as much foot traffic as we might have.
This event speaks to the magnitude and exclusivity that La Jolla has to offer. La Jolla is home to many famous, successful, and intellectual people. We are happy that President Obama visited our neighborhood and we wish him safe travels on his way to his next stop, Los Angeles.
The good news is you have another chance to see this magnificent home, we are going to be open again on Sunday, Oct. 30 from 1-4 PM. Looking forward to showing you 7770 Sierra Mar, La Jolla, CA.
